Extra Sun from the Moon

I am surrounded by neighbors with gardens at least 50 years old. I gave up to the deer, raccoons and groundhogs. They fight them with slaughter house blood and dial soap hung from the trees. I planted when I was good and ready and had the free time. They planted by the moon: new moon, half moon and full moon. My gardens were great but there were some things they planted that I failed at. Lima beans fell in this category. Full moon and bundle scar up they urged. Why not they asked. To me the phase of the moon was nothing but a sunlight caroming off the moon in proportion to the shadow of the earth on the moon. The changes in microeinsteins was so small that there could be no effect of consequence. That is all true but the effect of reflected sunlight off the moon providing some photons that Earth would not have had otherwise can be seen in the satellite temperature records. That is what the graph above is all about. How much does that extra sunlight heat our atmosphere. It turns out to be 0.03 C. It is indeed small but our satellites can measure it. That is how good our satellites really are. If they can measure a global change of 0.03 C per month they are indeed up to the job of detecting global climate change. The chore is to pick up or detect a change of about 0.03 C per year and now we have 17 years under our belt. If it is there we should be able to see it. The satellites are up to the job.
